iPhone 14
The iPhone 14 event was announced about 2 months ago and it is here. lots of new features including water resistance, a faster processor and a redesigned camera have been added to the new iPhones. The event showcased Apple’s newest updates as well as their other products like the AirPods 2 wireless earbuds and the iPad Pro 11 inch.
Apple also announced that they are expanding their lineup by creating an $899 6.
The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro
Shocking no one, Apple introduced four new iPhones today across two different lines. The iPhone 14 is joined this year not by a mini model but by a bigger iPhone 14 Plus with a 6.7-inch screen. iPhone 14 will ship with the same A12 Bionic chip found in previous models, but the newer iPhone 14 Pro will also come with a new hardware version of this chip as well. The Pro will have three cameras on the back – like Apple’s existing phones – and a 5-megapixel front camera. The iPhone 14 Pro will cost $899, which is $100 more than the base model iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will be available this September.
Water Resistance, Faster Processor, and a New Camera
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are the first iPhones to be water-resistant. They are also the first iPhones to have a faster processor: A12 Bionic chip is 1.85 times faster than the A11’s chip. Apple has also redesigned its camera from the ground up. The iPhone 14 has a 12 megapixel rear camera, which Apple says yields sharper photos than its predecessor’s. The iPhone 14 Pro has a dual-lens camera as well with two 12 MP lenses that allow for up to 2x optical zoom and optical image stabilization on both lenses. Both the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro also support 4K video recording at 60 FPS and slow-motion videos at 240 FPS.
Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Ultra, and Apple Watch SE
The Apple Watch Series 8 has a larger screen than previous models, and it contains A new S3 chip that’s twice as fast as the S2 in the Apple Watch Series 7. Apple Watch Ultra, which is a more expensive version of the watch, comes with built-in LTE so you can make calls without your iPhone nearby. In addition to those advancements, all of these watches have an ECG app that can help detect heart arrhythmias. The Apple Watch Series 4. Which is essentially a downgrade from the Apple Watch 3 and Apple Watch 4, is the lowest-end model of these three watches. All of these new watches plus the iPhone 14 and its Pro counterpart are available in September. Fortunately, this feature is coming to all Apple Watches since Series 4.
AirPods 2 Wireless Earbuds announced
Apple is releasing yet another version of its popular AirPods. The new AirPods 2 connect wirelessly, just like their predecessors, but they now have a W1 chip that will allow you to use your phone without touching the controls on it. The AirPods 2 will launch at the same time as the iPhone 14, September 19th.
iPad Pro 11-inch announced
The Apple iPad Pro 11-inch is the newest addition to the line that launched in the spring of 2016. The new iPad Pro models come with Dynamic Offset printing and a 12.9-inch display, which is about 33% large than what was featured on the previous generation of iPads. The new iPads have a starting price of $649 and up, and they also come with up to 10 hours of battery life, double what they had before. New iPads will be available in October.
Apple Watch Series 4 and Apple Watch Edition
The apple watch series 4 has same design as the previous generation but the display is slightly larger at 1.7 inches compare to 1.5 inches on older watches. The display is more rounded, and it has a higher resolution than previously available models. The new watch also contains a W2 chip that allows for faster connectivity, especially when using its built-in cellular connection. The body of the watch is made with surgical-quality steel and it’s also water resistant So you can wear it in the rain and even go swimming with it.
Apple Watch Edition now has ceramic casing
The Apple Watch Edition is a more expensive version of the Apple Watch. That features a sapphire crystal display and an 18 karat gold case. This year this watch has been upgrad to include more colors. Which include black ceramic as well as white ceramic – as well as more band options.
