Victoria Trabosh, an internationally recognized speaker, known author, and executive coach, invites professionals, leaders, and changemakers on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Rwanda, East Africa, in October 2025. More than just a retreat, Rwanda 2025: Engage – Experience – Embrace is an immersive experience designed to provide deep cultural exchange, economic impact, and profound personal transformation. With over four decades of experience guiding high-level executives and entrepreneurs through challenges, Trabosh has built a career in helping others harness adversity as a catalyst for growth. Now, she’s extending that mission to those who seek to make a difference—both in their lives and the world.
A Journey Rooted in Purpose
Trabosh’s connection to Rwanda is deeply personal. After meeting Rwandan activist Rita Ngarambe, she felt an undeniable calling to support survivors of the 1994 tragedy. That moment led her to co-found the Itafari Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to economic empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship for Rwandan communities. Over the years, Itafari has raised over $1.5 million, impacting thousands of lives.
“Itafari means ‘brick’ in Kinyarwanda,” Trabosh explains. “It represents the idea that change is built one step at a time. Whether rebuilding communities in Rwanda or transforming our lives, every effort matters.”
This guiding philosophy serves as the foundation for the Rwanda 2025 tour. Participants will be able to engage in programs supporting economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and education while embarking on a personal journey of reflection, renewal, and resilience.
More Than a Tour—A Life-Changing Experience
Unlike traditional travel experiences, Rwanda 2025 is designed to foster meaningful, sustainable impact for both its participants and the Rwandan communities it serves. Over ten days, attendees will gain firsthand insight into the strength and perseverance of the Rwandan people.
Participants will:
- Engage with local communities through hands-on learning and service initiatives.
- Experience Rwanda’s history and culture, including visits to the Genocide Memorial and artisan cooperatives.
- Embrace transformation through discussions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions with Trabosh.
Pre- and post-trip seminars will provide essential context, helping each traveler approach the experience with cultural awareness and an understanding of ethical engagement. Trabosh, who has spent years fostering relationships in Rwanda, is committed to helping the trip benefit both participants and the communities they visit.
“We’re not here as spectators,” Trabosh emphasizes. “We’re here to listen, learn, and contribute in a way that respects the resilience and dignity of the Rwandan people.”
Transforming Adversity Into Strength
Trabosh’s passion for helping others navigate adversity is at the heart of her coaching work. As the creator of the AdFARsity™ program, she has guided countless executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders through life’s most significant challenges. The concept behind AdFARsity is simple yet profound: adversity isn’t an obstacle—it’s an opportunity for transformation.
“I’ve dedicated my life to guiding others through adversity because I’ve lived it myself,” Trabosh says. “I’ve faced professional challenges, battled cancer, and built businesses from the ground up. The lessons I’ve learned apply to every leader, every entrepreneur, every individual striving for something greater.”
Focusing on resilience, clarity, and decisive action, she brings valuable insights to her executive coach and speaker work. She has shared her perspectives at events such as the United Nations and TEDx and has worked with executives across various industries.
A Fixture on the Global Stage
Trabosh’s credibility extends far beyond her coaching practice. She holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Archaeology from Harvard University, where she earned Dean’s List recognition for her research, and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Accounting from Indiana University.
She is also a Certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching, a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching (a Harvard Medical School affiliate), an accredited Everything DiSC® Trainer and Five Behaviors facilitator through Wiley and Associates, and a Certified Dream Coach and Group Leader from Dream Coach University.
Her book, Dead Rita’s Wisdom and Cancer: From Tears to Triumph, reflects her passion for resilience and empowerment. Additionally, she has served as a columnist for Choice Magazine for over a decade, addressing the real-world challenges leaders and executives face.
Why Rwanda, and Why Now?
In a time when leaders and professionals are increasingly seeking purpose-driven experiences, Trabosh sees Rwanda 2025 as an opportunity to redefine the role of leadership.
“This isn’t just about travel—it’s about transformation,” she says. “When you step outside your daily routine and immerse yourself in a new culture, you gain clarity about your life. You see resilience in action. You discover what truly matters.”
Through the carefully curated experiences in Rwanda 2025, participants will leave with a renewed sense of purpose, robust connections, and a deeper understanding of global leadership.
