CC Forum’s event at Davos, Switzerland

The CC Forum’s exclusive Dinner & Discussions in Davos brought together some of the most influential figures in business, finance, and sustainability. The event, hosted at the “World Economic Forum” week on January 23, 2025, aimed to spark conversations around investing in sustainable, green transition, and socially impactful organizations.
Max Studennikoff, Chairman and Founder of “CC Forum,” kickstarted the evening by stressing the importance of sustainable development. His vision for the forum has always been clear: Catalyze investment in efforts that produce financial returns and environmental and social progress. The Davos event brought together decision-makers to discuss the future of sustainable investment.
The evening started with a cocktail reception, followed by opening remarks from Studennikoff, as well as other guests of honor. The event’s highlight was a panel discussion, “Investing in Net Zero: How Do We Move Forward under the New Circumstances?” The panel, moderated by Studennikoff, included “Vijay Vaitheeswaran,” Editor of The Economist, “Dr. Arunabha Gosh,” CEO of CEEW, “Aimee Christensen,” global climate expert, “Jochen Wermuth,” climate impact investor “Melissa Chalfant,” CEO of Inventures. Together, they explored strategies for achieving net-zero emissions in a rapidly changing world.
Highlighting Innovation and Impact
The panel highlighted the need to work together to tackle climate change. Emerging technologies, renewable energy solutions, and the policy’s incredible role in moving the needle on sustainable investments were also covered. These conversations were thought-provoking and future-oriented, leading participants to think about how their investments may have an impact.

Following the panel, speeches from industry leaders further enriched the evening. Leon Gerard Vandenberg, CEO of Sunified, shared insights on solar energy innovations, while Vit Jedlicka, President of Liberland, discussed the intersection of sustainability and governance. Hon. Shyalpa Rinpoche, a Buddhist abbot, brought a unique perspective on the spiritual aspects of environmental stewardship. Iliad Terra, CEO of Alfa8, highlighted technological advancements that support sustainability goals.
A musical recital by pianist Tristan Pfaff and soprano Laurine Martinez added a cultural touch to the evening, blending art with advocacy for sustainability. The night ended with the CC Forum Awards, where Dr Iqbal Survé and his son Reyhaan were honored for their remarkable investments in sustainability projects based in South Africa. The event’s success was evident in the robust networking that followed, with participants making contacts to drive the sustainability agenda forward globally.
