In the workshop vision, we will explore an upcoming stress release workshop set to take place in October, as well as highlight the impressive professional accolades of one of the key organizers.
Vision Board Workshop has organized a Summer Camp, which played a vital role in the success of the youth in the community. As an institution committed to empowering individuals, it provided a nurturing environment for personal growth and self-discovery.
Beyond Temptation Empowerment, a key partner in the Vision Board Workshop, took center stage in raising awareness about substance use disorders. With their unwavering commitment to supporting individuals struggling with addiction, Beyond Temptation Empowerment offered invaluable outreach information to participants. This event served as a platform for promoting dialogue, understanding and, ultimately, breaking the cycle of addiction through education and support.
Beyond Temptation Empowerment co-hosted the transformative summer camp aptly named: Eat, Play, Learn’ in collaboration with Dorothy Kiyumbi of the House of Opportunity, Forrest City, Arkansas. This event will be held from July 28 to 30, 2023, at the picturesque Methodist Campground Bear Creek. The camp provides a holistic experience for attendees. Participants engage in various activities, including workshops, outdoor games, team-building exercises, and educational sessions, all designed to foster personal growth, learning, and empowerment.
Looking ahead, Eleanor Fondren is preparing for an exciting stress release workshop scheduled for November 2023. With the aim of equipping individuals with practical tools to manage stress and promote mental well-being, this workshop promises to be a valuable resource for participants. Through engaging activities, expert guidance, and the support of like-minded individuals, attendees will gain valuable insight and strategies to navigate the challenges of modern life.
All of which is possible by Eleanor Fondren, an esteemed member of the organization team, and an impressive list of professional accolades. While she is currently pursuing her doctorate in Social Justice and Ministry at the Memphis Theological Seminary, she holds a Master of Social Work (LMSW) degree. Eleanor’s expertise and dedication have been instrumental in the success of the Vision Board work and other transformative initiatives. Her qualifications and passion for social justice underscore her commitment to making a positive impact on individuals and communities.
